Ein

Background[edit | edit source]

Childhood[edit | edit source]

Ein grew up in a camp set up by the Church. Ein and his tribe were constantly persecuted because of their devotion to Pelor. Of particular interest were the religion's capability to drive out the undead and perform feats of healing. Since the powers of the new gods have waned, the Church has been enslaving the followers of Pelor to do its healing work to save face in front of the masses. He found his freedom thanks to his mentor Ria, who is also in charge of the sect of Pelorians in Dust.

Peylorians in Dust[edit | edit source]

The followers of Pelor are small in Dust. Most stay very secretive because of the actions of the Sheiks. After settling into a small community, the warring Sheik sought the aid of the paladins and healers. The Pelorians refused to help any one sheik and the tribe was thought of as disloyal nomads. Though the sheiks continue to demand the aid of the healers, no new information has reached Ein.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Seeing the devastation caused by the Church, Ein is very reluctant to perform healing in public. Although he has been charged to spread the religion of Pelor in Liberty, he has a lot of apprehension because of its proximity to the Church. He draws courage from the idea that Pelor's will is spread in Dust, though he constantly fears reprisal from the Sheiks, especially Sheik Yoseene.
